1. 100% Client-Side Computation Guarantee

Unlike traditional web utilities that upload your sensitive data to remote servers, the vast majority of utilities on Trools.app—including JSON formatters, JWT decoders, Base64 converters, password generators, financial calculators, image compressors, PDF splitters, and civil estimators—execute 100% client-side inside your browser engine using HTML5 Canvas, Web Audio, and Web Workers.

This means when you paste confidential API tokens, business invoices, private photos, or personal health metrics, that data never leaves your device, is never transmitted to our backend databases, and is never logged on any server.

2. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising

Trools.app partners with third-party advertising networks, including Google AdSense, to serve advertisements when you visit our website. These companies may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites on the Internet.

3. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimal information strictly required to authenticate user accounts and process Pro subscriptions:

• Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect your name, email address, and a cryptographically salted and hashed password (via bcrypt).
• Payment & Billing Records: For Pro upgrades, financial transactions are securely handled directly by our certified payment gateway, Razorpay. We never store credit card numbers, CVVs, or UPI PINs on our servers. We only retain payment order IDs and subscription statuses.
• Log Files & Server Analytics: Like most websites, our web hosting servers automatically record standard non-personally identifiable log files, including IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and timestamps. These logs are used solely for DDoS prevention, debugging, and traffic analysis.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

Trools.app uses cookies and browser local storage strictly for:

• Session authentication (keeping you signed in to your Pro account).
• User interface preferences (preserving your Light/Dark mode choice).
• Temporary client-side tool state (e.g., recent generation history within your browser session).

You have the option to disable cookies through your browser settings. However, disabling essential session cookies may prevent you from logging in to Pro features.
